Miss Mapp

Miss Mapp is the second book from the series, called Mapp and Lucia, written by Edward Frederic Benson. Miss Mapp from the British town of Tilling spends her days using opera glasses and a notebook to watch her neighbours' affairs. Among her interests are Major Benjamin Flint, whom she has been trying to marry for years, and the mysterious Miss Susan Poppit.
