Sinopsis

Our story is set during the period of English colonial rule in India. Our hero is an Irish-Indian boy called Kim. His beautiful Indian mother had married an Irish sergeant in The Mavericks regiment. Sadly, both his mother and father died when he was very young. Kim inherited only his father's identity documents and a strange prophecy. The prophecy predicted that one day Kim was going to meet a colonel who would wait for him next to a red bull in a green field. Adapted from the picaresque novel of espionage, written by Sir Rudyard Kipling. Published in 1901, it narrates the political conflict in Central Asia between the Russian Empire and the British Empire, which was called The Great Game. English Level B1 Interactive PDF: it has links that allow access from the reading to the glossary and viceversa. 20 original illustrations of the 70s in each title.
