"The American Indians: Their History, Condition and Prospects, from Original Notes and Manuscripts" by Henry Rowe Schoolcraft Henry Rowe Schoolcraft was an American geographer, geologist, and ethnologist, noted for his early studies of Native American cultures. He was one of the few men who, at his time, was deemed enough of an expert to properly record the cultures of the United States' indigenous populations.
